This comforter set was recently purchased from Amazon and here is my run down on whether its a winner, or a dud.

Why I bought it: This set was purchased for a bed in a guest room that primarily is suited for a male, however this particular set offers a wide range of color combinations to suit every taste and that is a huge plus.
The Pros:
1. Inexpensive
Coming in at under $ 40.00 for a full sized, 8 piece comforter set the price point is extremely affordable.
2. 8 pieces included
This set includes a full sized comforter, 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, 2 standard pillow cases, 2 standard sized pillow shams, and 1 sham for a 15"x 15" accent pillow sham.
The Cons:
1. A little small for its size
If you have a deep mattress, you may likely need to size up to get the coverage you need for your bed.
2. Lightweight
While this may be just right during the summer months especially if you live in the south, it may not be warm enough as a stand alone blanket during the winter depending on where you live.
3. No Dust Ruffle
For many of us this is a non issue, but for those that use them this is something to take into consideration. If you have a low profile bed this wont likely concern you. However at this price point, one can easily purchase a dust ruffle if needed, due to the wide range of colors in each individual set offered it will be easy to match up.
4. Wrinkles
This isn't a deal breaker for me, but this set does arrive complete with wrinkles that do not disappear when laundered and gently dried. Again, not a deal breaker, but for some that don't like that, have an iron on stand by. The comforter itself, only had minor wrinkles that are really hard to see because of the pattern. 😉
Conclusion: As of this date I can not find anything that jumps out as a bad purchase concerning this set. When considering the price point and the large selection of colors that will fit a lot of different tastes, and coming with a full set of sheets, you really can't go wrong with this set. While experience tells us that these products will likely not last til the end of days, it certainly will be a good purchase for those needing bedding solutions that are affordable. This set is ideal for a guest room for this very reason, as it will serve this purpose best and likely last much longer.
