 Flexitol is readily available at many department stores, drug and pharmaceutical stores throughout the United States. The 2.66 ounce tube we tested came from Amazon.com link you can find at the bottom of this post. The price varies from $4.98 and up depending on what quantity of product you want.
 
Does it have a smell? 

There is a slight smell to the product, it is mildly medicinal but fresh. Testing of this product indicated no strong order of any kind once dry.

Is it safe for Diabetics? 

Yes. According to the label directly on the tube, it is suitable for general and diabetic foot care.

Is the product greasy feeling?
No, this product is absorbed rather quickly, and our observations found it  leaves no greasy residue.

Does it work in 3 days?
Ok, this is the thing, this product is great for your feet. If you are looking for something that will definitely soothe and smooth dry feet this product works well. That being said, if you are looking for a miracle, that is, something that will make your thick calluses disappear, well, you'll no doubt find this product doesn't quite do that. It is not a callus remover, it's primary function is to soften and lessen the roughness of your feet. If you want chief optimal results, we suggest a good heel scraper that is safe to use like the one that is offered below by Amazon. If used together regularly you will see significant improvement. If you don't, you may want to consider using a  thick skin callus remover first with a regular follow up of the Flexitol Heel Balm to maintain your soft feet. This product is great for using on feet to extend the benefits of a pedicure as well.

Product Dudz reviewers liked this product! It softens heels and with regular use provides moisture and relief to dry feet. We think it's a winner and highly recommend if you take into consideration the above listed limitations of this product.

There was no noticeable difference in the thickness of any callused skin. Cracks were still present as well. Does not appear to remove any callus, especially thick calluses.


The bottom line:
This product is one of the better products on the market for soothing dry feet and offering comfort and relief to scaly thick callused feet. If you are looking for callus removal this product will do very little.  We can not give it a "Dudz" stamp, since it is very soothing to the feet, however we can not give it a "Winner" stamp either since it does not appear to remove calluses. Product Dudz recently reviewed the Esprit Harvest 27' Above Ground Pool. Our review will cover our experience with the company that the pool is offered and sold by, price, delivery, and installation.

The Company
The Esprit Harvest series was found on Pool Supplies.com online. This company also is known as Leisure Living. The current Leisure Living was originally established by Richard Gerspach in 1958 as a swimming pool installation, service and repair company and continues today as a 2nd generation family owned and operated business.

Originally named Island Pools, this nationwide distribution facility has expanded into a warehouse and office complex of over 245,000 sq ft. The focus of the company has changed over the years to include becoming the largest independent source of parts to fit Kayak Pools®, manufacturer of parts for the solar deck heated Fanta-Sea pools, a widely distributed 60 page color catalog along with a prominent position on numerous web sites.

What we ordered:
There are varying packages available depending on what your specific needs are. We did not need a pool pump which saved us a lot of money in the purchase of this pool. We purchase the kit that offered 52"  walls, 6 " ledges, 5 1/4 " uprights, plain blue liner, and skimmer. Accessory kits that include a pump, ladder etc are available and start at price of $ 369.99

Size availability:
You can order this particular model in 12' X 52", all the way up to 27' X 52 ". Prices range from : $ 649.99 to $1199.99 for kits that just include pool, skimmer and liner. As mentioned before, you will need to add $ 369.99 if you need a pump, ladder, etc. There are upgraded accessory packages but this is where the price starts at.

Shipping:
Free. We searched high and low to make sure that the pool we selected was the best deal all around including free shipping. We also looked for a company that offered "lift gate service" which is a service that places the pool on a lift gate and lowers it to the ground for you.

Lift gate Service:
Yes. Cost $50.00. Note: if you absolutely must have this service be sure when ordering to specify that they send  a truck with a lift gate. Although we paid for lift gate service, the truck that delivered our pool did not come equipped with this device. We were refunded by Leisure Living.

Delivery:
Ordered pool on 4/01 received pool on 04/10. Your pool arrives by a large freight truck. Ours came via an 18 Wheeler. You must have someone home to accept the pool otherwise they will return it to the warehouse.

Installation:

This pool comes with a dvd detailing how to install. This helped tremendously. We suggest you view it well ahead of installing your pool. As with all above ground pools, you will need at least 4 people for installation. The ground must be prepared a head of time. I have yet to see an above ground pool that is easy to install aside from the cheap metal frame pools. However, a permanent pool like this one reviewed will last a much longer time.




Pros:

Price:
We simply could not find one company that offered a better pool package for the money. An extensive 2 month search of both local, and online companies resulted in our visiting this particular company. $1199.99 for a 27' round above ground pool with liner and skimmer with the same sized uprights, ledge and at a 52" wall depth is a great price.


Installation video:
Easy to understand and simple to follow.


Attractive design and quality:
For the money, the quality of this pool is very good. There were no rough edges, packages were complete and wrapped well, metal components and screws were sufficient and there were no missing parts. While not overly visible in the pictures, the pools design is quite attractive with a vine pattern that goes around the bottom border of the pool wall.


Customer Service:
This company was great. Before purchasing any pool online, emails were sent to the top contenders to see what sort of communication efforts each company made. Many wanted to "talk" to you on the phone, only to upsell you a more expensive model, while others simply took a long time getting back to you. Others did not want to be bothered answering any questions via email and continually sent a phone number instead of answering even the simplest of questions. In our opinion, if I am fixing to spend that kind of money on your product you should be able to answer and respond to emails, and phone calls. Leisure Living answered a barrage of questions through email, and were easy to get a hold of via phone, even on the weekend. That's worth a lot to the consumer.


Warranty:
This pool comes with a 30 year warranty. It was hard for us to find many companies that were willing to offer any warranty beyond 15 to 25 years.

Cons:

Muted design
The only cons was the design on the pool is not quite as detailed and prominent in person as it appeared online. The design is more muted. Some may prefer this look so it can go either way.

Lift gate service
Although we were refunded a month later, which seems too long to wait for $50.00, it still bears reporting to our readers. While the company offers this, we unfortunately did not get it with the truck sent to our home for delivery. Keep in mind this was one experience, and may have been an isolated occurrence.

The Bottom Line:

It is the opinion of the reviewers at Product Dudz that this company is a winner and you can buy from them with confidence. We received adequate correspondence and communication. Our questions and concerns were addressed in a professional and timely manner and the price and quality of the pool we reviewed was as described and met and/or exceeded our expectations.

Intex metal frame above ground swimming pool product review: Update

Product Dudz likes to update product reviews given to see if the product still lives up to its review, in the case of Intex Metal Frame Above Ground Swimming Pool, an update was needed. If you are looking for a long term swimming pool please take note of the following photographs, the pool in the photographs is 5 years old and was filtered with a salt filter during the summer months.

This is an Intex Metal above ground pool, it is 24' by 52 ". Product Dudz does not know if the latest pools in the Intex above ground pool line have these same issues but our job is to forewarn you of what you may be able to expect if you do not drain this pool and store it away every year. Many older homeowners, or those without storage means may encounter these problems after 5 years or so. Depending on where you live, you may experience rust problems sooner.

After five years of use, you may encounter these types of rust issues which have resulted in a complete breakdown in the pole supports on this pool. While these parts can be replaced, the process in replacing each of these pieces are tenuous and pricey:

This post has completely come away from the pool the homeowner should have drained the pool over winter to help keep this from happening. However, if you have no way to store these pool parts, or are unable to take the pool apart every year this is what will result from natural exposure to the elements.

These t-joints have completely eroded away due to continuous exposure to the outside

The poles are also beginning to show damage from rust

Product Dudz suggests those wishing to buy this pool or one similar to it, be able to store the pool every year after use to lessen these effects. If you do not have adequate storage or are physically unable to disassemble this product you may want to consider a different type of pool to purchase.

This was a very nice sheet set, I am very picky about sheets. I am an Interior Decorator, so having the right quality item is important to me in every design. This set is beautiful, washes wonderfully, and even though it wrinkles some, most come out of the sheets once on the bed. There is a subtle sheen to the sheets and this makes them a beautiful compliment to the bedding. My only problem with this purchase was that I received a torn package, and they sent the wrong color! To make matters worse, I received two different color pillow cases. Brylane Home, understand that we are purchasing products from you sight unseen and rely on the pictures you provide to help us choose colors. When you send the wrong thing, or an obviously damaged return out to another customer, it is a major inconvenience to have to pack and re ship back to you.

This shirt was a nice length but after laundering it was extremely wrinkled so be prepared to iron it every time you launder. Also, it does seem to shrink some so if length is an issue, consider what starts out being 32 inches in length may end up only 30 when washed and dried.

 I got this comforter after reading great reviews, however, the comforter is very flimsy and light weight, and riddled with wrinkles. It fit my big King sized thick mattress but it is not the quality one might assume. The embroidery is lovely, and the color is similar to the picture. I am currently giving the set a wash and hope that it holds up on the gentle cycle and some of the wrinkles go away when I tumble it on low heat in dryer.

Bottom line: This set is on sale currently on Brylane home for around $120.00 for the King sized set. That being said, it is really lightweight and probably best for a guest room and not as a main comforter in a master. For limited use it should hold up, under daily use, you may find it is just too flimsy.

This sweater is pretty but, was a tad too short. It also had pockets on the side that were at an unflattering area where the hips are. Because the pockets are not stitched down, if you have a spare tire these pockets will only make them look bigger. The pockets have no real use and should be eliminated. This sweater is very thin, and somewhat see through. Be careful of what type of bra you wear under it. Depending on what color you buy this sweater will be easy to see through. The other negative is this sweater is just too pricey for the quality of the fabric. It is thin, flimsy. A little thicker would have been nice.

Bottom line: Eliminate pockets, and make a little thicker. Ideal for cool Spring days, mild Fall weather only.

The Breakdown:

This sweater is not the most flattering in the way that it drapes the body. It is a little too bulky and if a woman is heavy set through the middle it will emphasize this. It is also not quite long enough for anyone that is 5 foot 8 or taller it may be a little too short.
However this sweater is very thick and is a good choice during the colder months. It just missed the mark. Had it been little longer it would have draped better. The bottom of the sweater is crocheted, so you can add to the length or introduce another color if you know how to crochet.

The Bottom Line:

If you have a shorter torso and are strictly looking for something to provide extra warmth, this sweater may be ideal for you, however for heavier, taller women, this sweater seems a little bulky, too short and not as flattering to the figure.  Product Dudz rates this sweater as:

These boots were tested by a factory worker that works 12 hour days and is required to walk around 7 miles or so per day. The first day of wearing these boots had the tops of the feet inflamed and red. There should be more padding in the tongue area of these boots to produce a better fit on the top. They took a longer break in period than expected. 

The  Bottom Line:

These boots are fairly sturdy, and will probably last a good while, however after putting it through several days in a fast paced, rough environment they were found to be rather uncomfortable and caused some redness and soreness.  If comfort is important to you, pass these up. If  you don't have to do a lot of walking and be on your feet for 12 hours every day, these may be ok for you.  They are no better than any pair of boots you can find in any retail store.

This product holds up well and the gel padded shoulders will also last a very long time even with many years of washing. This product was purchased 7 years ago by members of Product Dudz review team and was found to be a very comfortable, supportive bra designed to meet or exceed the expectations of women that are well endowed.

Alli Weight Loss Aid Product Review

Image via WikipediaAlli is a weigh tloss pill with the generic name of Orlistat. It's claims is that when taken as directed, with high fat meals that the user will in fact lose weight. Other forms of this pill are under the names Xenical and Meridia which your doctor may prescribe. However, since Orlistat is now available without prescription there is little sense in going to the doctor for a prescription. It is recommended that you talk with your doctor before taking this weight loss pill. Why? Well there are a few side effects that was experienced by the testers from Product Dudz.

They are as follows:
Severe stomach cramping after taking recommended dosage with a high fat meal
Excessive flatulence that produced oily discharge that leaves a stain (if you are in public and pass gas, you could very well find yourself with a large stain on the seat of your pants)
Diarrhea-like symptoms that will come on suddenly and can cause uncontrollable rectal leakage

Price: Amazon lists this product at $35.99 for 60ct bottle
(which translates to about a month worth typically)

Does it work?
Well, after trying this product for several months, no noticeable weightloss was experienced. If you work in public this product is not for you. Taking this during your afternoon lunch hour could mean going home for the rest of the day.
The Bottom Line (literally)
If you notice the reviews on Amazon you will no doubt feel motivated to buy this product and give it a go. However the testers at Product Dudz caution you to realize that the people (reviewers on Amazon) that had the greatest success with this product improved their lifestyle with diet and exercise. Those experiencing little change did not do anything different with diet or excercise.  Product Dudz is thereby inclined to believe that anyone will experience weight loss by diet and exercise alone with out the use of Alli or Orlistat. Product Dudz feels people may be giving credit falsely to Alli where their own efforts were the genuine cause for their success.
Product Dudz also cautions you to further investigate the link at the bottom of this post about information posted on the Alli website with regards to health and safety.
This product causes very unsavory, inconvenient side effects from oily stain producing gas and stools to severe stomach cramps, and abrupt diarrhea like symptoms. You must speak to your doctor about this diet pill because some people on certain medications and with certain conditions should not take Orlistat in any form.
Gas, Oily stains, Diarrhea, Cramps, =DUD, Product Dudz gives this product a thumbs down. It simply isn't worth all of the unpleasant side effects.

How it works
Therma Care heat wraps produce a heat immediately upon opening the package. There are "heat cells" that are encapsulated into to wrap that begin generating heat quickly after being taken out of the wrapper. The heat cells are the part of ThermaCare® that provides warmth. These cells contain a mixture of ingredients (activated carbon, iron powder, sodium chloride, sodium thiosulfate, sodium polyacrylate and water) that react with air to provide low-level heat. The chemical reaction is called iron oxidation, which occurs naturally in the environment.
ThermaCare® wraps begin to activate before they’re put in the foil pouch. Once the pouch is sealed and the air inside the pouch has been used up, the wrap will stop heating. Even though they’re exposed to the air for a very short time, this doesn’t affect the performance. ThermaCare® will last 8 hours.

The pros

Therma Care delivers heat directly to the source of pain
Therma Care heat wraps continue to heat up to 12 hours (even though they only advertise 8 hours).
Therma Care  comes in a wide variety of styles depending on where your pain is located, such as: Lower back and hip wraps, neck, wrist and shoulder wraps, knee and elbow wraps, and even heat wraps to alleviate menstrual cramps.
Sturdy velcro closures that do not come undone, even after a full night of sleeping.
Price-For around six dollars you can purchase Therma Care heat wraps for your pain. There are two per package which makes this an excellent value.

The cons
I could only find one con, and that primarily has to do with sizing of this product especially for the wraps that are made for lower back pain specifically. Even though Therma Care Heat wraps are generously sized, it would be great if they made some extra large sizes. If your waist is over 46 inches and you purchase the lower back pain Therma Care Heat wrap, this product may prove to be a challenge to get on.It would be great to see this product offered in even larger sizes.

The Bottom line
I have purchased this product several times and I find that it does exactly what is says it will do. It relieves pain for 8-12 hours and can be worn throughout the day and works far better than heating pads. This product is a Winner!
